Dragon I  is suitable solution to integrate Key Management in applications with already installed access control or building control system.

In this version we will simply integrate the electronic modules of your system with our electronic locking system and the entire key management system will operate as a part of your existing access control, security or building control system.

The only requirements is that your access control, security, or building control system is capable of managing the required number of outputs, or to have the elevator control which easily can be programmed to manage the keys instead of the floors (please contact us if you are not sure about your system capabilities)

The key control is performed through your existing software and it will allow you to use the same user database, schedules, authorities levels, alarm and other notification settings for access and key management.

The system cost the same or less than a classic key management system, but it will make your key system administration easier without continues rewriting of users from access control to the key management data base.

Any key can be quickly and easily assigned to any user in a access control database at any time.

The system could be installed and maintained by your inside maintenance crew or by your preferred contractor which are already familiar with your access control system. This will reduce and eliminate the system downtime by waiting for dedicated factory technician.

The temporary PIN code to pick-up the particular key could be remotely assigned to  temporary users, contractors, maintenance crew, etc. and they can use the particular key holder with imbedded RF ID for access to the specific parts of the property without issuing the new access card.

At the end of the work the particular key holder will unlock its position in the key cabinet, which eliminates a hassle about card and key return.

   How it works?

Once connected to the Access Control System the Integrated Key Management System will keep the cabinet door locked, along with all key holders in dedicated electronic modules.

When the user presents his valid access card, or enters the valid PIN code to the card reader installed in the front of the cabinet, the Access Control System will unlock the cabinet door and the particular key position.

All the key holder positions with or without key holders in it, will remain locked at all times, which eliminates the possibility that the wrong key could be taken or  returned to the wrong spot.

When the key needs to be returned the users valid card, PIN code or the particular key holder can be presented to the reader in the cabinet to unlock the cabinet door and the particular key position.

This feature will help users to easily find the unlocked keys and their positions.

The particular key is always in the same spot which eliminates searching and confusion present with the other key management systems where keys can be returned to any position in the cabinet.

Each key holder is personalized with its own RF ID in the format that matches the existing facilities Access Control System, so the key holder can be used as any other access card or tag in the system, or it could be personalized with our proprietary format, and can be read only at the particular reader at the Key Management System.

The standard identification by Proximity, Smart (MIFARE) cards, PIN code, Biometrics device, or control by our wireless remote unit for applications where the keys has to be released remotely by security guard, or building management.

Secured 16 gauge steel cabinet with  1/4" smoked Plexiglas door for easy review on key status.

1000 lb door strike with  preloads will secure your keys and will unlock the cabinet door even if doors are  forced by "gentle"users.

Add as many cabinets as your control system is capable of managing.

Power supply and battery back-up included in enclosure.

Each key holder is personalized with its own RF ID, in a format that matches to the existing facilities Access Control System and it can be used as an access card, for elevator, lobby door, etc. or to unlock its position in the particular key cabinet

Illuminated unlocked key spot makes it easy to find the right key.

The colored Aircraft Cable, with special reusable or permanent locking mechanism will safely keep your keys, master access cards, or other valuables attached to the key holder.

Durable and easy to use, but uncomfortable to take home.

The key holder with Company logo and the spot for room or key number for easy identification

Video Monitoring:

Integrated color camera to monitor key users, and for area video and audio surveillance.

Optional:

If application requires and if supported

by external system, the additional transponders 

and tracking devices could be integrated for

"NO key out of premise" application which will create alarm or other notification if the key is taken out of the protected area.

Wireless Control Unit

Control (unlock) the keys or the cabinet from up to 1000 feet.

The suitable solution for detention, hotels, and similar applications where the key distribution is managed from "master control" or another secured area, or remotely by building security personnel.
